About Vanilla Ice
Vanilla Ice found national stardom after his 1990s hip-hop megahit “Ice Ice Baby” became the first rap single to top Billboard’s Hot 100 pop chart. The rapper later stepped into an acting role, most notably in the film Cool as Ice, and went on to become a home improvement television personality.
About Mark McGrath
As the lead singer of American rock band Sugar Ray, Mark McGrath became well known for the 1997 chart-topping single “Fly” which was included in VH1’s countdown of the 100 Greatest Songs of the ‘90s. McGrath went on to establish a career as a television host and actor.
About Montell Jordan
“This Is How We Do It” R&B artist Montell Jordan took his singing talents from the church choir to nightclubs with the release of his debut album in the mid-nineties. In 2010, Jordan left the hip-hop scene to become a worship pastor, but returned to music nearly a decade later.
Famous for swoon-worthy love songs like “I Swear” and “I Can Love You Like That”, the California quartet All-4-One gained popularity with the release of their debut album in 1994. The Grammy-winning group has since sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
About Color Me Badd
Formed from a group of Oklahoma City high school students, contemporary R&B group Color Me Badd is best known for their own style of hip-hop doo-wop, featured in their early-90’s singles “All 4 Love” and “I Adore Mi Amor”.
Grammy award-winning rapper Coolio is famed for his single “Gangsta’s Paradise”, which won MTV’s Video Music Award for Best Rap Video in 1996. The artist has sold over 17 million records and is well known for rapping the theme song for Nickelodeon’s Kenan & Kel.
About Rob Base
A hip-hop icon out of Harlem, New York, Rob Base is best known for the classic single “It Takes Two”, recorded with his late partner DJ E-Z Rock. The certified-platinum song has been hailed as arguably the bet hip-hop single ever recorded.
