EPIC Derby Day Party & Fancy Hat Contest

Catch the greatest two minutes in racing on our 30-foot LED HDTV! We’ll have on-site wagering, drink specials, and prizes for the fanciest hats.

Reservations accepted with a $60/seat food and beverage minimum. Complete the F&B agreement below before making your reservation.

  • Details
    1. This promotion will run on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
    2. Must be a Camas Club member 21 years or older to participate. No purchase necessary.
    3. The contest for best hat will take place before the race, for which $100, $50, and $25 gift card prizes are given to the first, second, and third-place contestants, respectively.
      • Hats will be judged based on three categories worth up to 10 points each (for a maximum of 30 points): creativity, craftsmanship, and visual appeal.
      • Hats will be judged by a panel of three Northern Quest Team Members.
    4. Team Members of Northern Quest Resort & Casino, Kalispel Casino, Kalispel Golf and Country Club, and Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority, as well as family members of Loyalty Marketing and Marketing, are not eligible to participate.
    5. We reserve the right to modify or cancel at any time and to exclude any individual from this contest at our sole discretion. Any dispute not covered by the above rules shall be resolved by casino management and shall be final and binding.
